Roman Holiday

Welcome to the Galleria Mall in Rome. While strolling around, just a little lost, we stumbled upon this retail heaven between the Spanish Steps and the Trevi Fountain. Obviously a spot for local businessmen and very chic women to enjoy lunch or a cappuccino.

A CD was the only item likely to fit in both my suitcase and budget.

Really cute Toy Store full of bright inspirational child-pleasing merchandise.

I saw an Italian line of educational toys. A unique combination of sporty, colorful, cartoonish, and high tech. Sorry no pics as I felt a little touristy taking photos and not actually shopping.

The Menswear store is also amazing. You don't have to touch to know these are very high quality fabrics, but touching them is more than half the fun when you know you aren't buying.

American fashion presence represented by Calvin Klein.

I'll take one striped top and that great belt & handbag.

30,000 PROMISES

There are said to be thirty thousand promises made  to the child of God, but they are of no more value  to  us than statements in the newspaper if we  do  not  personally appropriate them. J. Oswald Sanders, Spiritual Maturity PROMISE #1 I came across this sentence about two weeks ago and it has resurfaced in my thoughts again and again.  Yesterday I calculated that if I found 4.5 promises every single day I could find all 30,000 if I lived to be 80 years old.   How many promises support our lives every single day?  I don't know the number, but wouldn't be surprised if it were in the hundreds.
