Psalm 25:4-10
Make me to know your ways, O Lord;
teach me your paths.
Lead me in your truth and teach me,
for you are the God of my salvation;
for you I wait all the day long.
teach me your paths.
Lead me in your truth and teach me,
for you are the God of my salvation;
for you I wait all the day long.
Remember your mercy, O Lord, and your steadfast love,
for they have been from of old.
Remember not the sins of my youth or my transgressions;
according to your steadfast love remember me,
for the sake of your goodness, O Lord!
for they have been from of old.
Remember not the sins of my youth or my transgressions;
according to your steadfast love remember me,
for the sake of your goodness, O Lord!
Good and upright is the Lord;
therefore he instructs sinners in the way.
He leads the humble in what is right,
and teaches the humble his way.
All the paths of the Lord are steadfast love and faithfulness,
for those who keep his covenant and his testimonies.
therefore he instructs sinners in the way.
He leads the humble in what is right,
and teaches the humble his way.
All the paths of the Lord are steadfast love and faithfulness,
for those who keep his covenant and his testimonies.
And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ. Philippians 1:6
God Himself is the teacher.
He designed the course and wants to personally help you to master the content.
Lesson #1
Do you want more answers to prayer?
Then ask God to do the things you already know He wants to do in your life.
He wants to help you know His ways.
He wants to teach you how to stay on His chosen paths.
It all begins with being schooled in His truth.
I didn't think David had much to regret about his youth, but he still asks God to remember to be merciful and loving and to please forget the sins of his youth.
For me personally I'd add, oh yeah, while you're at it, forget the sins of all the days since my youth too!
Hallelujah, in Jesus our sins are forgiven and forgotten.
He remembers them no more.
Now if I could just do the same.
God Himself is the teacher.
